BULLETIN DESIGN RECOMMENDATIONS

We detail the following recommendations to achieve a proper display on the main managers email (Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, Outlook, Mac Mail).

TECHNICAL (HTML Version)

  • Recommended Width: 650 Pixels.
  • Sources: Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, Times New Roman.
  • Apply styles using the <font> in HTML.
    (Do not use CSS styles, or links to external CSS).
    The styles must be defined in the same element with the attribute 'style'.
    For example: <p style='color: red;'> <p> Text
  • Avoid using frames.
  • Not defining images as background.
  • Avoid the use of Javascript.
  • Avoid definitions in line <BODY>
  • Use tables instead of labels <div>.
  • Avoid using HTML created in text editors (Word or similar), because they include code that is not compatible with e-mail transmission.
  • Optimizing the size and weight of the images for Web (72dpi)
  • Testing the compatibility of the code according to W3C standards: http://validator.w3.org .

PLAN TEXT VERSION

E-Nvía to send a plain text version for those users who can not receive emails in HTML format.

It should prepare a version in plain text (ASCII), using Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac).
